Rolling_Thunder

In 2008 American Legion Post 28 partnered with the Virginia Chapter of Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club, Azalea Charities, and the Montclair Lions Club to serve as a staging area for the annual “Ride to the Wall.” We had over 600 visitors throughout the weekend and many camped on the Post grounds. Our plan is to do this again for the 2009 ride.

While this may be a bit early for some we need to begin planning as soon as possible so if your group plans on staying at the Post we would like to have a contact name, the name of the Group, the number that plans on camping on our grounds, and your arrival and departure dates. Additionally, if you have a camping trailer that you will be bringing with you please let us know quickly so we can begin laying out the field where the campers will be staying.

For those who didn’t stay with us this year – the reason we need all of this information is so that we can make sure we have proper staffing and facilities to meet everyone’s needs.

Also, for those who attended this year – if you have any suggestions on how we can make your stay more enjoyable – let us know. All of your suggestions will be given to the committee who will be doing the planning.
